At A Moment's Notice[Bailey Bravo]

Dad was talking to me today about all the special moments he’s looking forward to capturing as I grow up. My first steps, my first one handed cartwheel, my first bike ride, etc. All those moments that show I’m growing up into the little human they want me to.

It seemed as if it really dawned on him how easy it will be compared to when he was a baby like me.

When he was young, in order to capture those special moments you had to make sure you had the camera or video camera out, that it had batteries and film, and hope the moment was still happening. You had to deal with a lot of things in order to take pictures and videos.

But now Dad, Mom, ¬†or anyone can simply reach into their pocket and pull out their iPhone at a moments notice. No film loading or batteries. I don’t think they had rechargeable batteries (or internal ones) like they do now.

After taking the photos they had to go to a professional to get their film developed, which usually took a few days, and they’d get these things back called “negatives” that they could use to make copies. Weird huh?

Luckily the future is now and they have a high quality video camera and photo camera at their fingertips at all times. Photo’s can be stored on the phone, uploaded to a social media page, or simply added to a blog like this.

I know my dad has already collected hundred’s of photos, many of me doing the exact same thing but he wanted to make sure he got a good picture of it. Cuz you know, me sleeping changes so much.

By the way. It’s great they will be able to get all these life moments for the world to see and that my parents are making this record of my life. But I am not really a fan of flash photography in my face….just an FYI.
