Welcome To Bailey Bravo.com[Bailey Bravo]

Hello world!

My name is Bailey Bravo. I was born on Feb. 19th at 12:54pm. I weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 20in long.

My Mom & Dad (Loriane and Johnny) started this site for me as soon as I was born so that they could tell the story of my life. The picture to the left is the very first picture of me.

You see I’m not like most other babies out there. When I was still cooking in the mommy oven my parents found out that my right arm wasn’t what was expected. For some unknown reason from the elbow down my arm is disformed.

We’ll talk about this a lot later in posts but for now just understand that I only have one bone in my forearm and my hand is fused into a single chicken wing or finger.

When they first found out my parents were really scared because they weren’t sure if there was anything else wrong with me. Luckily there wasn’t and except for my extreme left handedness I am a perfectly healthy baby boy.

This among other reasons (I’m pretty cool in general) are why my parents wanted to tell my story.

Topics You’ll Find Here

As the first post I felt it is important to tell you the kind of things that my parents will talk about on this site.

The Story Of My Life

This will be the main focus of Bailey Bravo.com. As I mentioned before I am not like the other kids you’re going to see on the playground (when I can start playing on my own) so my story is going to be pretty unique.

Although a lot of this site will be from my perspective as a baby, my mom or dad may from time to time offer their insight on things.

Parenting Tips & Advice

When my dad started researching parent blogs he noticed there were two kinds of sites. The first and most common are the blogs focusing exclusively on the parents or children.

Although there were many great stories and pictures of the family, there wasn’t much appeal to them unless you knew the family or were part of it.

So Bailey Bravo will be a little bit more than those sites. Since my parents are new to this whole “raising a kid” thing they will make a lot of mistakes and learn a lot. So why not share those experiences with others who are also new parents?

Product Reviews

Every once in a while you’ll find my dad writing about a new product or service we’ve tried out that is worth a mention.

The last time we were at Babies R Us he mentioned the first time he was in the bottle aisle. He was completely overwhelm because there were so many choices available and they all looked the same.

It wasn’t really a great experience and if he can help another dad avoid that kind of confusion then the world is a better place.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you around again soon.

~ Bailey Bravo
